Smart Public continues its rapid growth by opening an office in Newcastle Upon Tyne
Smart Public continues its rapid growth by opening an office in Newcastle Upon Tyne as part of its national expansion programme. The company is now one of the fastest growing companies in Yorkshire and will appear on the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 listing over the next year.
The Newcastle office forms part of Smart Public national plans to offer a ‘high value’ ‘low cost’ alternative to head-hunters and recruitment consultants both on a regional and national basis. It already has offices in both Leeds and London covering the southeast, southwest, Midlands and Yorkshire. Executive Chairman, Glen Hall commenting on the Newcastle office ‘is delighted to be able to bring his company’s unique product offering and recruitment methodologies to the northeast business community. We have maintained our 100% growth by capturing market share from conventional head-hunters and agencies in the southeast, southwest, Midlands and Yorkshire. Our emphasis in year 5 will be the northeast, northwest and Scotland. We already have plans to take our proposition to Ireland before the end of year 5 in July 2006.
Tim Gleave Director of New Business Development will be responsible for the development of Write Research’s brand nationally but with a real focus on the northeast and Scotland. He will be head of an experienced Sales and Marketing team based in offices both in Leeds and Newcastle Upon Tyne. Tim previously worked as a Director for an internationally renowned generalist head-hunting company. Prior to this he was Global Head of Research for a £50 million pound full service recruitment company. Tim brings the ability to execute and deliver cross functional and multi-sector assignments throughout the UK and Europe.
Commenting on joining Smart Public Tim appreciates and understands his future challenge to take a good company and make it great. ‘I am deeply committed to Smart Public’s core values and its clear vision and mission over the next 10 years. I am determined to utilise the company’s growth-delivery-consolidation system whilst maintaining the company’s real desire to provide a true alternative to the high fees of the head-hunters and recruitment consultants. I want to take a very good company and with the Leadership and Delivery team make it great’.
Write Research has been nominated for an award in the prestigious North East Business Awards for 2007.
